The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
