The reason of the attack is unknown and no one has been arrested have taken place, as per the official statement.

The Fatal Incident

Police indicated that Stock was ambushed as he was leaving a location close to the Carlton Centre.

He had spent several hours at the building supervising the implementation of security systems, which had been reportedly taken over by squatters, according to reports.

"Authorities believe the man was approached by three unknown suspects after he parked his car, and they shot at him before escaping on foot," a police statement said.

Surveillance tape showed a individual with dreadlocked hair and clad in what appeared to be a security uniform firing shots on Stock before running away.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was shot but succumbed to his injuries across the street.

His sister, a close relative, said the family was struggling to understand the tragedy.

"I am devastated. I don't have words," she said.
"It is clear he was a representative for countless citizens. He was a fearless commentator about issues not many people were willing to tackle. This is a tremendous loss."

She requested the public to avoid sharing disturbing footage from the scene, explaining this was an extremely painful time, particularly for Stock's three sons.
