Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amid Widespread Military Operations.
Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed strikes throughout the Middle East in retaliation for a large-scale and continuing assault against it by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity close to the headquarters of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any impact is not yet known and the American officials has not commented.
Airspace Engagements
In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to American military installations - said they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had intercepted several missiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the Middle East.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was targeting American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the attack on Iran carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday morning.
That initial attack - initiated at around 06:15 GMT - has so far focused on areas linked to the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israel Defense Forces said it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates said in a statement that the country has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems dealt with the projectiles with notable success and successfully intercepted a several projectiles," the statement continued.
Officials reported missile fragments fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some structural damage and the death of one civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
